The Birth of a Church is an awesome and astonishing working of the Lord. Although
officially organized in March 2004, in many ways, Mt. Sinai Temple was planted and cultivated in the heart of its Pastor and Founder, the Reverend Frank Branch, III, years before it came to be a reality.
By the grace of God and His divine leading, Mt. Sinai Temple held its first worship service on Palm Sunday, April 4, 2004 at the historic Orchard Street Church in Baltimore, Maryland which is owned and operated by the Greater Baltimore Urban League.
On June 4, 2004, Mt. Sinai Temple held its first baptism service at the Calvary Baptist Church in Baltimore, baptizing 11 disciples. Subsequent baptism were held and the First St. Stephens Baptist Church and the Whitestone Baptist Church. We are truly grateful for the role these churches have played in the history of our church growth.

In the fourth month of its fifth year of service to Lord, Mt. Sinai celebrated its 5th church and Pastor’s anniversary on April 5, 2009, Palm Sunday; held its last worship service in the Orchard Street Church on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009 and then held its first worship service in the new building on April 19, 2009. Mt. Sinai Temple was graced to purchase the property at 664 Pitcher Street (the corner of Fremont & Pitcher) in Baltimore, which became its new and present home.
The Mt. Sinai Temple church family continues to be excited about what the Lord is doing here at the "Temple" and declares in unity with fervent conviction:
All that the Lord has spoken, we will do!
